Concrete Driveway Calgary

Concrete Driveways

Concrete driveways are a great way to add to the look and value of your home. Stamped, exposed or cut and broom are just a few of the many specialty finishes to choose from. Our driveways are poured at a consistent four inches thick and we use a high density concrete with plenty of relief cuts to prevent cracking. We use only top quality sealers on our specialty finishes to keep the driveway looking new for years to come. In Calgary, freeze-thaw cycles make proper installation and sealing critical for long-term durability.

Concrete Patio Calgary

Concrete Patios

Concrete patios are the most diverse out of all the custom concrete projects. Our contractors have a wealth of knowledge and experience and can accommodate any size, shape and finish. Stamped patios are the most common, but exposed or a combination of decorative finishes can be used for a great result. We love custom patio construction at Goodstone and we're and are happy to help you design and create whatever you need.

Concrete Garage Pad with Curb Wall Calgary

Concrete Garages

A concrete garage can add value and utility to your home. Smooth is the most common finish, but a stamped finish can also be used for a more decorative result. We offer both flat garage pads, and a pad with curb walls. For strength and longevity our garage pads are poured to a minimum of 4 inches thick. Rather than pour footings, walls, and then slab, at Goodstone we pour everything at once in a monolithic slab which is a stronger and more cost effective option, better handling ground movement and temperature changes in Calgary.

Curved Concrete Walkway Front Yard Calgary

Concrete Sidewalks

Concrete sidewalks can be put anywhere on your property, whether your looking for stamped, exposed, or another concrete finish, our contractors will work with you to meet your individual needs. Our sidewalks can be connected to steps, driveways or the side of your residence. If your sidewalk is set against your foundation, underground metal brackets ensure your sidewalk will not shift over time. Our construction techniques ensure you sidewalk not only looks great, but stays looking that way. Proper base preparation and drainage help prevent movement during seasonal temperature changes.

Concrete Floor Calgary

Concrete Flooring

Concrete flooring is a durable and low maintenance option for basements, garages, and utility spaces. A smooth finish is the most common choice, providing a clean, level surface that is easy to maintain and built to last. With proper preparation and finishing, concrete floors can handle heavy use without shifting. A well-prepared base and proper installation are key to preventing movement over time. Decorative finishes can also be used to add color and style where a more customized look is desired.

Concrete Formwork Construction Calgary

Concrete Formwork

Concrete formwork preparation is the foundation of any concrete project. Our years of contracting experience ensure the proper construction techniques are used everytime. At Goodstone no corners are cut, with the proper amount of rebar going into every job. This attention to detail is especially important in Calgary where soil conditions and climate can impact long-term performance.

Concrete Driveway Removal Calgary

Concrete Removal

Concrete removal can be a challenging process, so let us handle the heavy lifting. We remove concrete driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps and flooring. Of course we're happy to replace old concrete with something new, but we do just the removal as well. We handle removal projects throughout Calgary, ensuring proper disposal and site preparation for your next project.

Concrete Sealing Calgary

Concrete Sealing

Reseal your concrete and make it look new again. A good sealer can protect your concrete from salt, staining and other wear and tear, as well as refresh it's appearance. Road salt is one of the major causes of chipping, also known as "spalling" in concrete. The salt dissolves, sinks into the unsealed pours of the concrete and then re-crystalizes. This creates upward pressure and causes the surface to break apart. Once the concrete has spalled the repair or replacement cost can be relatively high. In Calgary, road salt and harsh winters are one of the main causes of surface damage and spalling, making regular sealing especially important. If you have decorative stamped, or exposed concrete, it's important to reseal every 2-3 years. We apply two coats with a light dusting of sand in between for extra traction. Concrete Driveway Extensions

Concrete driveway extensions are a great way to add extra parking space and improve accessibility. Whether you need more room for parking, better access to your garage, or a wider approach, we can extend your existing driveway with a strong, well-prepared addition. Proper base preparation and reinforcement are key to preventing shifting or cracking over time. We can match the existing finish or upgrade it with a new look, depending on your goals.

Concrete Driveway Panel Replacement Calgary

Concrete Driveway Panel Replacement

If your driveway has cracked, sunken, or damaged sections, panel replacement is a cost-effective solution. Rather than replacing the entire driveway, we carefully remove and replace only the affected panels. This restores the structure and appearance without unnecessary expense. We match the existing finish as closely as possible and ensure the new panel is built to last.
